Why we exist
We built what we wish we had.
We lived through this. When your skin is prone to a chronic condition, most of the skincare aisle works against you. Formulas built for everyone else can carry the exact oils and esters that feed Malassezia, the yeast behind conditions like fungal acne and dandruff, so a product that soothes one person's skin can set yours off.
We spent years reading ingredient lists like lab reports and getting burned anyway. So we built Kyn Skyn: a skincare brand where every product, the ones we make and the ones we vet, is held to a standard that's safe for chronic-condition-prone skin.
The name is the point. Kyn, as in kin: people managing the same skin you are, holding every product to the same standard.
